【3.30 _Reimagining Locality Through Design】

Curators Hsu Che-Yu and Kuo Chung-Yuan have been cultivating Taichung through design. Between 2018 and 2024, they have explored the city’s urban texture from diverse perspectives, including the hydrology-focused The Renewal – Lyu Chuan Canal (2018), Taichung City River (2019), and REUSE (2023), which linked Taichung’s historic districts, along with the fusion of city, aesthetics, culture, and architecture represented in DESIGN HUB IN TAICHUNG. This session invites the curators to share how they connect with and interpret Taichung’s cultural narrative through design.
